Have you moved?  Have you changed your telephone number?  Both of these are important contact information that the office should have.  If you have moved, the office must have 3 proofs of your new address to change your address so that you receive mail from the school.  If your telephone has changed - it must be changed in the computer system so that you receive all calls from our ConnectEd system.  We thank you for your cooperation.

If you receive a phone call with the message - "your child was absent from school today" - it means that he/she was marked absent.  Please call the school office the next day and let us know that your child was not absent but in school.  If your child was late, the computer may have already scheduled the call home.  Always send an "Absent Note" with your child the day he/she returns to school.

Mrs. Fata, Ms. Grotto & Mrs. Martinez's first grade classes will be going to the Central Park Zoo in Manhattan on Thursday, April 30th.  Please watch for information from the teachers and the permission slip.  Please also asked your child what they saw and learned at the Zoo.

On Wednesday, May 13, 2015 we will have representatives from Master Card, along with Junior Achievement, in our school for a full day of "life" lessons.  As you know, we have been fortuniate to have this program for many years.  The students love the lessons they have from year to year.  Please ask your child what project they made and learned from it.

Our 6, 7 & 8th Grades are planning the year-end trip.  Destination - Boston, Mass.  Letters have gone home requesting a deposit to help plan this trip.  There will be fund raisers to help offset the cost - so please watch for flyers with further information.  At this time the trip is planned for Wednesday, May 27.

Please inform our School Nurse of any medication that your child/children may be taking.  If your child needs medication during the school day, we must have a signed form from your doctor detailing information.  Also, if your child has been sick, they must be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school.  We thank you for your cooperation.
